  1. HOLCO FLASH EEPROM BIOS UPDATE APPLICATION NOTE :  25th Aug. 1994

  3. Flash.exe is the 5V SST flash EEPROM updating program 
  4. for HOT-523 and HOT-543 mainboard.
  5. List below is the procedures for 5V SST flash EEPROM updating:
  6.  
  7. 1. Copy flash.exe and updating BIOS file from floppy disk to 
  8.    hard disk drive. (recommend)
  9.  
  10. 2. Remove any EMS driver from you config.sys file.
  11.  
  12. 3. Reset your system and enter BIOS setup program.
  13.  
  14. 4. Disabling External Cache on 'BIOS FEATURE SETUP'.
  15.  
  16. 5. Boot-up your system and run FLASH program.
